Recommended 2-Bike Rack for 2003 Honda Odyssey

Question:

I am looking for a bike rack to attach to my 2003 Honda Odyssey. I see you have 4-bike racks, with the Pro Series Eclipse 4 Bike Rack for 2 inch Hitches - Tilting recommended first. Two questions: 1 Do you have 2-bike racks that fit the 2003 Honda Odyssey? 2 Would the 2-bike rack not extend out as far my wife is worried about backing into things. Thanks!

There are a large variety of 2-bike racks that are going to work well with your 2003 Honda Odyssey. A 2-bike rack will not be as long as a 4-bike rack and a great option for you is the Thule Camber # TH9058. This rack will fit either a 1-1/4 inch hitch or 2 inch hitch and extends a maximum of 29.5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole with the arms extended. The Roadway has a weight capacity of 75 lbs and uses anti-sway cradles to keep your bikes from contacting each other. I do recommend using the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2 to reduce the amount of rattling you may encounter with any bike rack and to protect your investment.

This is a hanging rack so it's possible you'll need bike frame adapter bar # 64005 if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike. The bar will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack. I've added a link to a video review of the adapter so you can see exactly how it works. I have also linked video reviews of the Roadway and hitch lock for you to take a look at.
