Will a Honda 2000 Generator Fit the TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick # TLA7901
Question:
1. I have been using Honda 2000 generator on a regular cargo tray attached to the trailer hitch under the truck camper Northern Lite 9.6. I have a height limit of maximum 18. If I get 4inch drop hitch adapter, will this device work forthe tray?

If your generator is the Honda Eu2000ia then it will fit the TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick # TLA7901 for sure. Otherwise you have to go by the dimensions of the carrier. The tray is 21-1/4" long x 16-1/8" wide. As for the strap adjustments measured from tray base to inside of top locking bar the minimum height is 16-1/2 inches and the max is 18-1/2 inches.
The use of a 4 inch drop adapter will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the hitch. So that means that the combined weight of the carrier, about 35 pounds, and the generator cannot exceed the reduced tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch.
