Where Does Spacer Install on RockyMounts SplitRail When Adding 2 Bike Add On

Question:

My question is on the 4-bike rack assembly, reference on extra pieces states 1 extra spacer, but in the directions I see no reference to where to use the additional one spacer. Also, if a spacer was to be installed, the two rails left and right, would not be long enough to enable the 4th rack to be assembled onto the two then three bike rack assembly. I also cannot get one bolt screwed into one side of the left of one rail. It starts to screw in and then immediately stops and freezes. Do you have a one piece 2 bike rack that fits onto the original 2 bike rack so as not to have to screw and unscrew the many screws that have been a challenge to align and screw into the spacers to assemble the third and yet to be assembled fourth rack. Thank you,

I attached a picture of the install instructions for the RockyMounts SplitRail part # RKY11404-4 that you referenced that details the portion that covers the spacer you mentioned.

Looking through the included parts that come with this rack it looks like there's only the one spacer and not any extras.

For the screw that's not wanting to thread there's a possibility that the threads aren't perfect and that's preventing it from being able to install all the way. Make sure you aren't cross threaded and try it a few times gently trying to push past the resistance. It might just need to be cleaned up with the bolt threading in all the way.

This is the only setup for the SplitRail that allows you to add an additional 2 bikes to it.
