Does Swagman Chinook Bike Rack Come with Threaded Hitch Pin
Question:
Just received my new Swagman Chinook 2 bike platform rack. Is the locking bolt supposed to be threaded into the 1 1/4 - 2inch hitch adapter? As is, it is pretty floppy in the hole that is not threaded

Expert Reply:
The hitch pin of the Swagman Chinook part # S64683 is threaded and is designed to pull the entire assembly tight to the side of the hitch tube to take out all movement.
Also the 2 inch hitch adapter is designed to tighten to the shank of the hitch as well.
If you check out the 4:24 mark of the review video I attached you'll see our installer taking off and installing the adapter.
