Difference Between Hollywood Racks Trail Rider and Sport Rider 2-Bike Racks
Question:
Hi, could you tell me the difference between the HR200 and the H1000 bike rack? Thanks in advance.

The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z and Sport Rider # HR1000Z 2-Bike Racks referenced in your question are very similar, platform style carriers that can transport up to 2 bikes at 45 pounds each. These are both very nice options that feature adjustable wheel mounts to accept a variety of wheel sizes and heelbases along with an anti-rattle hitch bolt that will reduce movement inside the hitch receiver.
The primary difference between the two models is that the Sport Rider # HR1000Z has the ability to both tilt away from the vehicle with the bikes still loaded to allow for rear cargo access and also fold up against the vehicle for storage when not in use. The Trail Rider does not have these tilting and folding features. I recommend going with the Sport Rider for this reason.
For either option, I recommend adding the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # HRLHPT to secure everything into place and help deter theft.
