Track Mounted Roof Rack for a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado with Camper Shell

My Silverado has a cap on the bed and it has rails on it and I need a roof rack that’ will fit those tracks. I want to put fishing rod holders on it. Can you help?

To use your truck camper tracks, I recommend using the Thule SquareBar kit, consisting of:

This kit will install onto the tracks and give you an easy to use roof rack for a variety of kits.

For an actual fishing rod carrier, you can use almost any ski or snowboard rack, and its a rough correspondence of one or two rods per ski that the rack can hold.

I recommend Rhino-Rack's 4 Ski carrier, part # RR574 as a great rack for multiple rods that will attach to your crossbars with its universal mounts. The rack does include integrated locks for added security. I've included a video of this rack so you can get a better idea of its features and performance.
