I was looking to purchase a friction sway control kit but had a question on it it said in the description that was not used when backing up do you have to remove it every time you back up with trailer.

Expert Reply:
If you are backing up mainly in a straight line you can leave the Reese Friction Sway Control part # 83660 installed but if you end up getting into a tight enough turn you'd need to disconnect the kit.
