Parts Needed To Connect 1994 Coleman Destiny Camper w/6-way to 2006 Chrysler Pacifica w/4-way
Question:
I have a 4 way flat connection on my 06 Chrysler Pacifica and a 94 Coleman Destiny pop up w/ a 7 blade adapter to 6 way square connection. Can I use part #30717 to connect my trailer to my pacifica? If so where do the other black, blue, and white wires need to be connected?

You will want to use the Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. This will be a good option to use with your 7-way adapter if your trailer is wired correctly.
The Black wire is 12 volt power and would connect to the positive battery terminal via 40 amp circuit breaker. The Blue wire is for brake controller output and would be ran up and connected to the Blue wire on the back of the brake controller. White is the ground and would connect to a clean metal surface like the vehicle frame. The Purple wire of part # ETBC7 is for the reverse lights, if your trailer does not have reverse lights you can just tape this wire up and out of the way.
Then, you will need to install a brake controller on your vehicle if your 1994 Coleman Destiny trailer has brakes. If you do need a brake controller, I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885, for its user friendliness and ease of setup.
I have linked an FAQ on wiring, and instructions for the Brake Controller 6 and 4 Way Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. There is also a video installation of a brake controller which features part # ETBC7.
