I cannot speak as to the requirements you will need to keep your 4.6L V8 engine cool after removing the mechanical fan but I can say that mechanical fans draw much more CFM than your average electric fan. The typical mechanical fan can draw anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 CFM, therefore I can see a 3200 CFM electric fan as being a suitable replacement.

I recommend taking a look at the Derale 24" Dual, High-Output Electric Radiator Fan w/ Aluminum Shroud part # D16831. This dual fan combo is a very well made, high-quality cooling fan system. It can produce upwards of 3,750 CFM at 0 static pressure. The fan assembly comes with dual 11" fans, an aluminum shroud, and all mounting brackets/hardware needed for installation. You will need 24" wide x 15-1/2" tall x 4-1/2" deep of space behind the radiator in order for the fan setup to work for you.

You are also going to want to use the Derale 40/60-Amp Dual Relay Wiring Harness for Dual Fan Assembly part # D16765 to run power to the fan assemblies.
