What Tow Bars Work Well With Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plates
Question:
Which tow bars work with the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms - RM-521448-4?
asked by: John
Expert Reply:
Most tow bars, especially those by Roadmaster, will work with the EZ4 Base Plate Kit with Removable Arms, Item # RM-521448-4. One of our popular tow bars that is made in the USA is the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar, Item # RM-576. It is lightweight, durable, and easy to use and store. It also includes safety cables and works with 2 inch trailer hitch receivers.
While you may already have them, you will also need tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system for flat towing your 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. For tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit, Item # RM-15267. For a supplemental braking system, I recommend the "one install does it all" Stay-IN-Play Supplemental Braking System, Item # SM99251. Other items like a Brake-Lite Relay, Item # RM-88400, or a high-low adapter, Item # RM-070, may also be needed.
I am attaching more information and videos that can help you as you work on this project.
