The pull down sprayer of the Phoenix Faucets 8" Single Handle RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull Down Sprayer # PF231361 operates just like the faucet. You use the handle to turn the water on and off. The buttons on the nozzle are for switching spray patterns on the head.
