Recommended 12v Refrigerator Replacement For A Norcold 1210 RV Refrigerator

Question:

I have a Norco 1210. I want to replace it with a 12v fridge. The RV entry is a maximum of 26inch but that would be very tight. The fridge install location can not exceed 35inch and is preferred to be at least 31inch wide to minimize retrimming. We do not want stainless and prefer black. 1 do you have anything that size in 12v. 2 Is there a company in Indianapolis IN that can install it? 3 Would this use less power than doing a conversion on my current fridge by PC conversions? I have 2,000 watts of solar and lithium batteries.

The dimensions I could find for a Norcold 1210 fridge are 68.88 T x 37.88 W x 28.75 D. The closest 12v fridge we carry to this size would be the Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer Drawer # WAY44FR, which is 28-1/2" wide x 72" tall (at front including feet and hinges), 67-3/4" tall (at back) x 28-1/2" deep.

I've attached a link below to our installer locator to help you find someone to install the fridge.

I can't speak to the power usage of the your Norcold (or even after a conversion) to the # WAY44FR. the amount of power used in a day varies greatly depending on the temperature of the area you're in and the amount of times you're opening the doors. Basically, the hotter it is the more the fridge will have to run.

The # WAY44FR has a start up amperage draw of 7 to 9 amps, a maintenance amperage of 4 to 8 and will draw 0.2 to 1.0 amps at idle. I've attached some of our solar help articles below, as well as our solar calculator, to help offer you some more information on what you'll need to boondock.
