Roof Rack and Canoe Carrier Recommendation for 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with Raised Roof Rails

Good evening, I am looking to purchase a 16 ft Old Towne Penobscot Canoe. I own a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. What is the best cross bar kit to install on the factory rails? Also, the best capatible strap kit if it is not included. Thanks!

For your 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with raised roof rails the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack part number # TH7501B-TH7502B is a confirmed fit and would be my recommendation. I like the aero shape of these and the fact that they do not extend past the feet of the rack. This allows the least amount of wind resistance and looks really nice as well.

The Thule Portage Canoe Carrier part # TH819 would then be a great carrier for the canoe. It comes with straps as well.
