Fixed Fifth Wheel Hitch That Fits in Puck System of 2017 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2017 Ford F250 with factory 5th wheel prep package. 6 3/4foot bed. I currently use a Reese RP30156 adapter with a Reese 16k hitch, possibly a 30857. Not positive at the moment. At any rate Im looking to move to a 16k hitch that will fit the factory pucks and eliminate the adapter and reduce hitch height. All that I see are sliding hitches. The camper is equipped with a Sidewinder, as it had an old Leland pin box. So I dont really need a sliding hitch. Any suggestions?

There absolutely is a 16K fixed fifth wheel you can use with your Sidewinder that will fit in the factory puck system of your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty. I recommend the Reese M5 # RP30921 which is rated for 20,000 lbs and has a 4 inch height adjustment which adjusts between 14 inches and 18 inches.
