Does your trailer have separate brake lights from turn signals? If so, the part # HM47425 will not work without also installing a taillight converter on your trailer like # 118158 so that you can then run the red wire of the converter box to the stoplights of the trailer.
The 7-way configuration of the # HM47425 only allow stoplights and turn signals to be carried on the same circuit.
