Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4

thinking of installing a 13403 cooler to help keep transmission cool while plowing snow. would i replace the factory aux cooler or install this one in series? thanks

The Derale transmission cooler part # D13403 that you referenced is a stacked plate cooler (the most efficient style) that would do a great job keeping the transmission fluid of your 2004 Chevy Silverado cooler. You'd want to route the fluid from the factory cooler, to the Derale cooler, and then back to the truck's transmission to get the optimum cooling power.
