Is Fascia Trimming Required for Installing a Curt Trailer Hitch # 11195 on a 2011 Audi A4 Avant
Question:
When mounting this hitch to my Audi A4 Avant Quattro, will cutting of facia be required? I saw a different QandA that said the bar would show on the Avant - Im hoping the trade-off is no cutting. If cutting is needed, how extensive is it? Do you have photos of the hitch installed on this car?

The rear fascia does not need to be trimmed for installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch # 11195 on the 2011 Audi A4 Avant.
You will need to trim the heat shield underneath the vehicle for access into the frame. This is not an extensive cut and will not be seen when the hitch is installed.
At this time we have not had the opportunity to install this hitch on a 2011 Avant so we do not have photos of the hitch available on the vehicle. The installation instructions, see link, have a drawing showing the position of the hitch in relation to the rear fascia for you to view.
