Recommended Wiring Harness for 2017 Ford Escape with LED Tail Lights
Question:
When installed on a 2017 Ford Escape which has LED tail/brake lights, will the Curt C56320 or T-one 118715 vehicle wiring harnesses function properly when plugged in to mating harnesses for trailers which have standard incandescant tail/brake lights?

Both vehicle wiring harnesses that are available for your 2017 Ford Escape without the tow package will work and function properly with the LED lights on the vehicle. They both feature a powered converter and require a hot lead that will run up to the Escape's battery to provide power and avoid overloading the vehicle's electrical system. The LED lights will not be an issue.
Between the two harnesses, I recommend going with the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56320. As you mentioned in your question, this will install by connecting to the mating harnesses located behind the driver and passenger side tail lights.
