Trailer Hitch for 2008 Honda Pilot that Allows Full Size Spare

2008 Honda PIlot 1 I am a bit confused. In reading through the QandA it states that a full size spare fits with the 75599 Drawtite hitch but if you click on the installation instructions it states Fits with mini spare tire stowed under vehicle. Will not fit with full size spare. 2 Is there a way to route the trailer harness through the floor in the rear? The e-trailer videos only show how to install and let it hang out the back. I would like to install it through the rear floor and then mount it to the hitch.

The Draw Tite hitch # 75599 is a confirmed fit for her 2008 Honda Pilot and will fit with a full sized. In our install videos we've only had the chance to install this on a vehicle with a smaller spare, but it will fit with the full sized spare. For trailer wiring you'd then want the part # 118336.
Having the 4-way run out of the back hatch is actually the preferred method although it seems like it wouldn't be. Having the 4-way stored inside the cab keeps it protected from rain and moisture to prevent corrosion and keeps it protected from damage to the wiring or connector by rocks or debris that might be on the highway.
You can run the wire through the vehicle if you wish but just keep in mind that this does take more time and you may end up needing additional wire because you will not be routing the wire in a straight line.
