Replacement Motor for Lippert Components Ground Control 3.0 Auto Leveling System

Question:

Thanks for your quick reply. The problem I'm having is with my Gen 3 Lippert self leveling system. Today I swapped the motor in question with another that was working well. I found that the same problem was still there so I am working down the line. The circuit board is Lippart part number 304136 Can you price that for me and I would also appreciate a price for the two cables that run less than 5' from the circuit board to the front motor. Each motor has two cables, one as a controller and the other for power. Clear as mud? Not sure yet which is bad. Thanks

The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 auto Leveling System does have replacement motors available. I recommend the Replacement Hall Effect Motor for Lippert Components Ground Control 3.0 Leveling System # LC343758 which is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Open Range 386FLR trailer. This motor will simply connect to your current system and will work perfectly as it measures rpms instead of amps for proper auto leveling.

Because you had the same issue when you swapped motors, the issue is either in the wiring or the control module. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test your wires probing every few feet for function. If the wires are not the issue, then the Control Module you are looking for is the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC304136. Before replacing, check those fuses using that circuit tester or swapping with one that you know works properly as sometimes they can look okay and still not function correctly. The two wires from the controller to each motor actually can both be power. To move the motor clockwise one wire will be power and the other neutral. Then to move counterclockwise they will switch with the other being power. Sometimes the quick connect connects are the issue, so you will want to test them both unplugged and plugged in to see if that is the issue.
