Replacing Motor on Lippert Stabilizing Jacks Due to Water Intrusion

Question:

i have a 2012 Cougar tow behind that uses Lippert stabalizer jacks. Like many people, the stabilizer jack motors are failing due to water infiltration. Has this issue been addressed in any way?

To replace the motor on the Lippert Stabilizer Jacks for your 2012 Cougar Trailer, I recommend the Lippert Jack Motor # LC352338. This is designed to work with Lippert Rear Electric Stabilizer Jacks and is now 2 times faster than the original unit that is on your system.

This motor is designed to be weather resistant and should not fail due to normal outside conditions. I recommend checking the location of your motors to ensure they are not in line behind the rear wheels of your truck and getting a direct spray of water from the tires. If you find they are in a less than ideal location, you will want to simply move the jacks.
