Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch Compatible with 6-1/2 Foot and 8 Foot Bed with B&W Turnoverball Hitches
Question:
I have an F235 8’ bed and a F250 6.5’ bed I purchased the BandW reverse ball hitch for both trucks from you. Now I need a fifth wheel hitch to tow our camper. Which BandW fifth wheel hitch can I use with both trucks?

For your two trucks with B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitches, you will need the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400. Your F-250 short bed will need to use the slider for the sharper turns like getting your 5th wheel parked and maneuvering around gas pumps, but it can stay in the forward locked position when you use your 8 foot bed if you desire. The slider gives you an extra 12 inches of travel to give you turning clearance, but needs to be in the forward towing position for regular driving.
You may also want to consider adding a 7-way to the bed of your trucks for easy connection using part # A10-7007.
