Recommended Trailer Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for Step-Thru Frame e-Bikes
Question:
I bought a Kalkhoff Include 8 Premium e-bike wt 50 lb for recreational use and would like a suitable rack for my 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Desire local transport to trails in metro area 10-20 mi, not long distances. Am 67, so light weight appreciated. Suggestions? Thanks

For your 50 lb Kalkhoff e-bike, I recommend the Saris SuperClamp EX 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # SA4025F. This carrier has a weight of 38 lbs which is significantly lighter than other options and can support bikes up to 60 lbs each. This will work well for your 2003 Chevy Tahoe. It has the included hitch lock, cable lock, and will have security from wheel straps and ratcheting hooks. I've attached a video to further assist.
