Recommended Proportional Braking System for Flat Towed 2015 Ford Edge

Installation of patriot brake system. Is there anything that has to be done in the edge?

Among the options for flat towing braking systems for use in your 2015 Ford Edge, the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR offers probably the least intrusive and easiest installation. Since the Patriot is wireless and portable the only required changes to the Edge itself are installation of the 12V power outlet kit # RM-9332 and the Stop Light Switch kit # RM-751475. Both of these small parts are easily removed if desired.
The real beauty of the Patriot is that it can stay with you for as long as you travel in your RV. Full portability and easy installation/removal mean that if you buy a new toad in 2 or 3 years you do not need to do major work to get the Patriot ready for the new car. Best of all you do not have to shell out a second time for a braking system.
The Patriot III includes a higher-efficiency electric pedal actuator, built-in backup power, an easy-read LED display to keep you updated on braking performance, an included breakaway device and upgradeable software to keep your unit current.
