The Dutton-Lainson Worm Gear Hand Winch with Hex Drive Handle - 2,000 lbs # DL11004 has a gear ratio of 40 to 1. This will give you an excellent mechanical advantage, but it also is why a cordless drill attachment with 5/8 inch socket will make things much faster and easier.
