Recommended 7-Way with Concealed 4-Way Trailer Connection for Light Bar Accessory
Question:
I have a 2016 Ford F-150. I would like to use the existing plug configuration. I need to be able to replace the 7-blade that is in the existing assembly with a 7-blade plug that would plug into my existing connector but also have a 4-pole blade connector attached to it. I do not want to use the 4-blade flat connector on the existing plug. I want to conceal the connection of a light bar under the vehicle rather thank plug it into the existing exterior flat connection. Do you have a solution for me?

Expert Reply:
I recommend the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 74682 for that application on your 2016 Ford F-150. It will connect to your factory harness, give you the 7-way at your bumper and will also give you the concealed 4-way for your light bar connection.
