2008 Chrysler Town & Country Left Running Light Stays On Even with No Trailer Connected
Question:
All of a sudden my left running light is staying on even though the car is off and I havent had a trailer hooked up to it for about a month. I think it is the power module box so I pulled the fuse. Not sure what to do at this point.

It does sound like there is a problem inside of the converter box for the wiring harness on your 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. To test it you will need a circuit tester such as # PTW2992 or a meter if you have one.
Have someone sit in the vehicle to operate the lights while you test. First test the wires going into the converter box from the vehicle. None should have power when none of the lights are on (except for the power wire on applicable wiring harnesses). If there is power then that indicates an issue on the vehicle such as a corroded bulb socket or, if it has LED lights, a short on the wiring.
If the input wires have power when they are supposed to then move on to checking the output side of the converter box. Perform the same test and if there is power on any of the wires when there is not supposed to be then there is a short inside the converter and the wiring harness will have to be replaced.
All of the wiring harnesses for your van, # 118552, # C56333, and # HM11142175, install in the same way and have the same functions. The good news is that as long as the power wire from the previous install is working fine you can reuse it for the new harness.
