Recommended Thule Rooftop Cargo Box for GMC Acadia

I am in the process of buying a yakima skybox or a thule car box. I have a GMC Acadia and it appears either will fit but i want to know which one is the best quality of the two and which one is quieter since i will using it on 1400 mile trips.

For your GMC Acadia, I recommend the Thule Force XT XXL # TH6359B over the Yakima Skybox 21 # Y07337. The wind noise is going to be there with any roof mounted box and both of these boxes have a nice aerodynamic shape. They both have really good reputations with their owners, so the biggest reason for my recommendation of the Thule carrier is the locking mechanism. There are far more people that need a replacement for the Yakima lock and I'd hate to have something go bad when you are 1400 miles from home so that is the basis for my Thule recommendation.
