Replacement Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Chevy Traverse OEM Trailer Hitch

Question:

What trailer hitch do you recommend for the 2004 Vespa ET4? My vehicle is a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse with factory installed 2 inch hitch. Dont know the specifications for the hitch and want to carry a motorcycle.

If you cannot find the specs for your OEM trailer hitch on your 2014 Chevrolet Traverse and you are wanting to replace it then I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75528 as it has a Tongue Weight (TW) rating of 750 lbs.

Even though this trailer hitch has a TW of 750 lbs you will need to check with your copy of the owner's manual to make sure that you stay within the TW limits of your Traverse. Since your 2004 Vespa ET4 weighs over 200 lbs, a carrier like the etrailer motorcycle carrier w/ramp # e98873, which weighs about 58 lbs, might put you over the TW limit of your vehicle.
