Coupler Lock for Titan Brake Actuator With 2-5/16 Hitch Ball

Question:

I guess I called it the wrong thing although the answer is good to know. When I hook trailer up to ball-the coupler has a device to secure on ball with a hole/handle thing that you push down. Part of that fits in a slot, presumably to keep it down. But it’s not very secure and comes loose/unhooked easily. It has holes in each side which I would think a pin goes through to lock it down, but there is no way to use a pin. I am looking for a device to lock it down when hooked up to trailer.

There is a coupler lock for your Titan Brake Actuator # T2477600 with a 2-5/16" ball. The Master Lock # ML389DAT uses a 1-piece housing to fit securely around the coupler, has a powder coat to resist corrosion and comes with a pair of keys.

I've added a photo showing how it looks on a Titan coupler and also linked a couple video reviews for you to take a look at.

do you have caps for the reservoir for T2477660. I cannot get my current cap off. Plastic bends on hex and will not open. Ideas?

You can find all of the master cylinder caps that we offer in the link below. I will also leave a link to that cap that will most likely match the one you've got.

It actually is a locking mechanism, so you were not incorrect, and a coupler lock may actually be the answer for you. What I recommend trying first is attempting to repair the piece with Repair Kit # T1848700, as that may fix the issue entirely. I went to the warehouse to measure the hole in the latch assembly handle, and it measured 7/8".
