Recommended Over-Under Kit for 29 Foot Camping Trailer to Flip Axles

Interested in information on flipping axles on 98’ Alpenlite 29’ Towing with 17 Ram 3500 drw with air suspension. Bed rails 57.5” Trailer. 55.5” Thanks

To flip your axles on your 1998 Alpenlite 29 foot trailer, I recommend the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 if your axles are 2-3/8 inch diameter or # K71-385-00 if your axles are 3 inch diameter. This will put the axles underneath your springs and raise your trailer roughly the diameter of your axle. This will raise your entire trailer including your coupler height.

This can be done on any trailer with leaf spring suspension regardless of the length or style as long as the diameter of your axles matches one of these kit options which includes the u-bolts, spring seats, spacers, and brackets.
