Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs In-Bed Hitch Compatibility 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD
Question:
will part number f2250 work on a gmc pickup with a 5th wheel hith installed? is part number f2250 compatible with an air ride wireless kit

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2250 will work with a 5th wheel hitch installed on a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The air bags mount to the bottom of the frame rail and the 5th wheel brackets mount to the outside of the frame therefore, will not interfere and will be compatible with one another.
For a wireless air compressor kit compatible with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, I recommend using the Air Command Compressor System part # F2610. This kit comes with a light duty compressor and is controlled through your smartphone.
I have included an installation video on both kits for you.
