How to Correct for Tilt in Hitch-Mounted Platform Style Bike Carrier in Class I Hitch on Prius V
Question:
My Kuat Sherpa 2.0 doesnt lie parallel to the ground when in transport position. This makes me anxious when trailing my bikes. Any suggestions to make it lay flat?

If the issue is that your Kuat Sherpa Hitch bike rack # SH12G when installed in your Prius' hitch tips to one side, you might try loading the bikes facing in opposite directions. Some bikes can be heavier towards the front or rear and so loading them facing each other can sometimes help to even out the weight distribution between the driver and passenger sides.
You might also check your hitch receiver tube to see if it is bent or distorted. One of the two hitches offered for your car, Curt # C11276, requires use of a support strap # 18050 when using a load like a bike rack or cargo carrier. The strap stabilizes the rack/carrier to prevent its motion from causing stress/damage to the light-duty receiver tube or to the car's lightweight frame.
