The 2011 Honda Odyssey with the factory tow package does not come with a connector for the 3070-P brake controller wiring harness under the dash, so you will have to hard wire the vehicle for a brake controller. The Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, item # ETBC7, will be needed, along with a 4-Way wiring harness, item # 118521, at the back of the vehicle. If you already have the 4-Way with the factory tow package you will not need the 4-Way wiring harness to complete the brake controller wiring. The # ETBC7 kit will provide a 7-Way and 4-Way connector at the rear of your vehicle for installation of a brake controller. We have detailed instructions for installation of this kit online, see link.
To the best of my knowledge the Honda uses black wire with a white trace for the stoplight switch wire. I have also heard of some Honda vehicles that use a white wire with a black tracer. The only sure way to get the correct stoplight switch wire will be to use a circuit tester, item # PTW2993 if needed, and check the wires from the brake pedal switch until you find the wire that has power only when the brake pedal is pressed. Manufacturers change wire colors often and with no warning.
Once you have located the stoplight switch circuit the rest of the wiring is straight forward and the instructions will walk you right through all of the steps to complete the installation.
