Replacement Master Cylinder for Dico Model 60 Actuator for Drum Brakes  

Question:

I have a DICO Model 60 drum brake coupler. I cant seem to get it to push the brake fluid, it only blows are after filling the reservoir and pumping the emergency lever to activate. Does the master cylinder need replaced? Thanks in advance for your help.

If your Dico Model 60 Drum Brake Actuator is having difficulty pushing brake fluid, it very well may need a new master cylinder. Before replacing this part, though, I recommend checking to make sure there is not a clog somewhere on your brake lines. Try cleaning the brake line and if you are still having the same issue then I recommend replacing the master cylinder.

For a replacement master cylinder on your Dico Model 60 Actuator for drum brakes, you will need part # T4395100. This includes the master cylinder, gasket, orifice connector, hex bolt, lock washer, filler cap and cover. I have included a short video demonstration on this part that you can also check out.
