You will want to get a spare tire that has the same size and weight capacity as your current tires do. If your spare was rated for a lower weight capacity and you had a blowout while under a full load, your spare tire might not be able to handle the weight.
I looked up your Venture Boat Trailer model and it looks like your tire size for your VATB-7225 is ST225/75D15 with a Load Range of D. From what I gather it looks like your wheel has a 6 lug pattern. A great spare tire would be the Kenda # AM3S870. You will want to verify the size, load range, and bolt pattern of your tire and wheel before purchasing a spare.
Something else you may want to take note of is that the D in the trailer size means that you have Bias tires. Bias tires are great for off road use, like on a farm, because of their stiffer sidewall, but they will not be as effective on the highway as Radial tires. If you would like to have a tire that runs cooler on the highway then I recommend going with a Galvanized wheel that has a Radial tire on it. The Kenda Karrier # AM32666 is one of our most popular combinations that fits the bill.
