Recommended Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System for Boat Trailer with 83.5 Inch Axle Length
Question:
I believe this is the axle that I need, but the length is too long. The existing axle uses the same part number inner and outer bearings. The trailer is an aluminum model that carries a 1200 lb boat. Given the weight of trailer and boat I am guessing the axle is a 3500lb. Can that axle be ordered in a 83.5inch length? hub face to hub face

The only option we have for a replacement axle in that 83.5 inch length is the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Hubs - Straight Spindle - 5 on 4-1/2 - # A35RS545. This system can replace an axle of any length, but replaces the current suspension on your trailer as well. It requires a 2 inch square tube to be cut (obtained locally) to the length required to fit your application. There are integrated holes for this system and it will give you better ground clearance under your trailer. I've attached a video to assist, but let me know if you have further questions.
We cannot special order through axle sizes like you referenced.
