We can help you select tire chains that will be compatible with your 2017 Honda CR-V and its P235/60R18 size tires. All chains of the appropriate size are shown on the linked page.
The online edition of the owner's manual for the car indicates on page 587 that chains of an appropriate size and of the low-profile (S-Class) type can be used on the FRONT tires only. Your printed manual should be checked in case it differs.
Tire chains differ dramatically in how easy they are to install and in how well they work. When chains are required by law to be carried in a vehicle ("just in case") folks often naturally choose the least-costly option. Having lived through many hours of training on the various types and brands of tire chains offered I can tell you without hesitation that a tire chain is the perfect example of "you get what you pay for".
By this I mean that bargain chains will be tougher to install and not work as well as better models with the added features that cost more. And let's face it...chains that are a pain to install will not get used and they will therefore do you no good at all. If you need "just in case" chains that's fine but if you actually expect/intend to use these more than once then I urge you to invest in a better set of chains with the features that will make them truly useful to you.
The best option we offer is the Konig (formerly Thule) set # TH02230K66. These feature quick-release, automatic tension control, protection from scratches for your rims and they are the low-profile type that will not cause clearance issues in the front wheel wells. You can see these in the linked video. Please also note these Italian-made chains carry a 5-YEAR warranty, which is simply unmatched by other brands.
If you want chains at a lower price point then the next best item I recommended that offers many of the same features is Konig # TH01594247. This chain set has a 1-year warranty.
