Is Lippert 1621 Pin Box # LC1191191 Compatible with Pop Up RV5 King Pin Extension Adapter

Any issues adding the popup rv5 kingpin extension? Have Lipp 1621 15550 lbs hitch.

I can see the appeal of the RV5 king pin extension and I have not heard of any issues with it fitting a Lippert 1621 pin box. But I can tell you that the use of an adapter will more than likely void the warranty on the trailer. Also, since the distance from where the trailer couples to the hitch back to where the pin box mounts to the trailer will increase using this adapter it will put significantly more stress on the trailer frame.
A better option is a Sidewinder replacement pin box, # RP34FR. It does cost more but it is not an adapter so there won't be extra stress on the trailer, it doesn't increase the ride height like the RV5 does, it won't void the warranty, and instead of giving you just 10 inches more clearance the Sidewinder moves the trailer pivot point back 22 inches.
