You will always want the tire size, load range, and construction, to match on your trailer. Using tires that are different can lead to more of a load being put on the smaller size tire/tires and cause tire problems to occur.

In your case the tire size (ST205/75-14) is the same but the tire construction is different. With different tire construction the radial tire would run cooler than the bias ply tire and the tracking of the trailer would also be different with the two different tires. You will also want the tires to be of the same load range (B or C), so that they will both be able to handle the same amount of weight.

The overall height of the radial and the bias ply tire will be pretty similar, but a radial will show more flex in the sidewall so it will give the illusion that it looks shorter than the bias ply tire.

You will want to have all of the tires the same, so if the radial tire is the better of the two tires I would recommend to match the radial tire.

The Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14 Inch Galvanized Wheel, part # AM32156, is a load range C radial tire on a 14x6 inch galvanized wheel.

The Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14 Inch Galvanized Wheel, part # AM3S450, is a load range C bias tire on a 14x6 inch galvanized wheel.

The rim size will usually be the correct width when using the same size of tire.
