Trailer Wiring and Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2011 Honda Pilot

I have a 2011 Honda pilot 4x4. I want to add a trailer wiring harness for it. The trailer i tow has a 7-way connector on it. Which harness do i need for the vehicle?

If your 2011 Honda Pilot did not come with a factory trailer wiring harness, you will first need to install the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 118491, that you have referenced. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation for you to view.
Next, you will need a 4 and 7 Way installation kit, # ETBC7. This kit provides the 7-Way plug you need while still retaining the use of the 4-Way. It comes with all of the wiring and circuit breakers required to make it functional. It also comes with the wiring needed to install a brake controller. I have included a link to some FAQ article and a video that explain the installation of an ETBC7.
If you need a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, because it is easy to set up and easy to use. I have included a link to the installation details for the brake controller as well.
