Adapter to Allow Installation of Curt 5th Wheel Hitch in Ford F-350 with Factory Prep Package
Question:
I have a Curt 20 fith wheel and I just purchased a 2017 f 350 and it has the pucks already installed. My need will be what rails do I need to accommodate the hitch or do I need a new hitch of another design? Thanks

Expert Reply:
If you have a short-bed F-350 you will need to use a sliding type 5th wheel hitch to have enough turning clearance. If your Curt hitch is a slider type made for standard above-bed base rails then all you need is the adapter # RP30156 from Reese. This adapter drops into the pucks and provides the equivalent of above bed rails that accept any brand of industry-standard 5th wheel hitch.
