You need the wire that only has power when the brake pedal on the 2007 Jeep Wrangler is pressed. In your Mopar harness, use a circuit tester such as # 40376 to test the wires. The one that has power with the brake pedal and not at any other time (such as with a turn signal or running lights activated) will attach to the ICX transmitter on the Even Brake # RM-9400.

So it sounds like the flashers are overriding the brake signal. You do not have to drive with the flashers on to be more visible. If you want the toad to be more visible to other drivers you could attach some battery powered LED emergency lights such as # HF18A-MB on a metal part of the Jeep. Otherwise you would have to have some sort of logic box that could sense intermittent power on both turn signal/brake light circuits to prevent the pulsing signal from reaching the braking system. As far as I know there isn't a device that does that.
