Choosing the Right Curt Class II Euro Style Ball Mount to Tow a Trailer Level
Question:
Inside top of my receiver to grounbd measures 13inch and the top of my trailer couple measures 16. I want a Curt Euro draw bar, 2inch ball, 1 1/4inch receiver. Dont mind being a bit above level. Not hauling much over 600 lbs in a single axle 4foot x 6inch enclosed 900 lb trailer w/3000 axle. Am I looking at the right drawbar?

If you are measuring to the top of the coupler then I will have to ask for the measurement to the bottom of the coupler instead. This is because the coupler covers the ball so the measurement to the bottom of the coupler provides a more accurate representation of what kind of rise or drop is needed to tow a trailer level.
I am willing to bet that the measurement to the bottom of the coupler will have you at just about level. That would make the best Curt Euro-style ball mount with a 2 inch ball # C45552 for your particular application.
I have also included a link to our help article that explains measuring for rise or drop when choosing a ball mount.
