Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller to 2008 Nissan Armada without Factory 7-Way
Question:
What would I need if I have the factory tow wires but no 7 point plug? There is a grey plug under the spare tire but nothing plugged into that? Thank you

If your 2008 Nissan Armada did not come with a factory trailer connector then you can add one by first installing a 4-Way flat connector, # C59496, and then installing Brake Controller 7- and 4-Way Installation Kit # ETBC7. There isn't a kit that plugs in for models that did not come with the factory 7-Way so that is why this hardwire method is needed. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
If your trailer has electric brakes that you want to use then you will also need a brake controller. I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
