Connection Needed to be Made at Rear of 2011 Ford F-150 to Complete Brake Signal for 7-Way
Question:
I purchased the Tekonsha break controller #39523 with the wiring adapter #3035 for my 2011 F150 it was very simple to install. When I purchased the used trailer i purchased a adopter for the 4way on my truck to go to the 7way on the trailer. It has 3 wires coming out the back besides the 4way plug. It will not operate the trailer breaks, but all the lights work. Can you tell me where the 3 wires go to operate the trailer breaks? Or can you give me advise? Thank you Larry

Expert Reply:
To activate the brakes of your trailer there is one more connection you need to make between your 2011 Ford F-150 and the blue wire of the 7-way adapter you bought.
If you check out the attached picture you'll see exactly how to make this connection.
