Does EcoHitch Class III 306-X7601 install require a modification/manual cut to the existing 2017 Subaru Outback bumper?

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7601 will only require a small cutout be made underneath the bumper of your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon which has no affect on the aesthetics of the car. I've added a link to a video install of this hitch on a '17 Outback and at the 7:30 mark you can see the exact cut being made.
You can also refer to the attached photo to see exactly how the hitch and bumper look together.
