How to Prevent Bounce on 30 Foot Camper
Question:
I have a 30 foot camper that loves to bounce. I have seen 2 to 3 inches between tires and pavement while running down interstate. What can I do to prevent this? 6 lug axles and both are breaking axles with no shocks

When a trailer is bouncing like yours, this usually means that it is a bit too light or is completely unloaded. If this is the case, then you can try adding some weight to the trailer to see if the bouncing resolves. It's also possible that there is too much tongue weight on the trailer, thus not enough weight over the axles. I recommend redistributing some weight further back inside the trailer to even out the load and reduce its rough ride.
Traveling at a lower speed, especially when going down the interstate, may also help this issue.
