Solution for Connecting RV 4-Flat Male to 4-Flat Male on Tow Dolly
Question:
I have an RV that will be towing a car dolly. The RV plug is male and the tow dolly is also male. Is there a female to female adapter anywhere? 4 flat.

I do have a solution for you, however we do not have any adapters available that will allow you to connect the two male 4-flat connectors on your RV and tow dolly.
An RV or vehicle will typically have a 4-flat female connector at the rear for hook up with the trailer. I recommend simply cutting the male connector from the RV and replacing it with the Vehicle End Hopkins Endurance Quick-Fix Replacement 4-Way Flat # HM48190. After cutting off the RV's male connector, you will simply insert the existing wires into this new plug. The connector also features nice LED test lights to confirm that the electrical connections have been made.
