What is the Best Bike Rack for Two Evelo Electric Bikes on a 2017 Kia Soul?

I need a hitch for my 2017 Kia Soul. I have two Evelo Electric Bikes and they recommend a Hollywood Racks Bike Rack.

I have a solution for you, but I can't recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, part # HLY84FR in this situation.
The primary reason for this is that the 2017 Kia Soul only has fitting hitches that are Class I with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. The Sport Rider only has a 2 inch hitch, requiring an adapter that will reduce the tongue weight, our capacity for hauling bikes, by 50%, from 200lbs to 100lbs. The Sport Rider itself weighs 60 lbs, and the lightest of the Evelo models is 55lbs without the battery, meaning that you would have a total tongue weight of 115lbs. This can cause extreme stress to the tongue of the bike rack, potentially causing the shank of the rack to fail and cause damage to the rack and bikes.
Instead, I recommend the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Platform Rack, part # TH903202. This rack has a per bike capacity of 65lbs, fitting all Evelo models with the battery removed, and most with the battery still installed. Additionally, it has an included telescoping rack, which helps loading the bikes onto and off of the platform. Additionally, it tilts away from the vehicle and folds up to a small, easily storable form. Additionally, it includes locks on the hitch and frame clamps for added security.
